Mitte Berlin was a cross disciplinary project I was able to contribute to while studying abroad in Berlin. Groups of Industrial Design and Interior Design students were paired and challenged to develop this disused, but historic space in Berlin’s Mitte neighborhood along the Spree River into an adaptable co-working environment. The space needed to be flexible and facilitate modern work, but not to the detriment of the space’s historic beauty. This was our interpretation of those needs.
